Primarily a self-taught digital artist, I've always loved exploring creative media, from #2 lead on paper to the process of creating the paper itself. My digital interest began while working with a research lab in Cleveland, Ohio. As a Christian, I became fascinated with the cellular level lab images, deeply appreciating their intrinsic intelligent design. I learned how to manipulate the images artistically for journal covers, and general interest art pieces, eventually incorporating a wider variety of subjects. More recently, I've been hand-crafting my own paper, custom dying each batch; then working with the final design, most mounted on canvas. Having fondness (borderline obsession) for copper, I typically incorporate the color in each piece.
